My old M42 banks... nothing spectacular, but they may appeal to some.
best.

Due to previous experience I have to ask - do you want them listed in the resources section or are you just wanting people to know about them? ....

Just checked out your preset banks. You got some nice sounds in there....
Thanks.

The M42AnomalyIV preset bank is finished. 40 presets to go with the sf2 file. Each sound has a Warp version and a non-Warp version....
That is it for the freebies for a bit, from me. I have to work on other things. After I finish up what I am currently working on I will start compiling the next free sf2 file....
Patience.
Meanwhile, if anyone wants to share any presets, envelopes, Warp gestures - anything - for any of these instruments feel free to use this topic to let others know about them. If you want them hosted on the AlgoMusic page on my site, please let me know.
I think it would be best to have everything in one place, but all I can do is make the offer to host things.
Enjoy....

Thank youdnekm wrote:Just checked out your preset banks. You got some nice sounds in there....Thanks.
... as to your question, I'm good with your having them available on your site as well, as I'm pleased that these 'tools' are being resurrected {as it were}.
best.

Like the way M42Nebula sounds but can't even get it to work with JBridge. In fact, when I try to bridge it to 64 bit, JBridge says tge dll isn't a valid file.
Oh well. Maybe someday somebody will update these great plugins.

And who get's the money for these soundsets you are charging $5 and $8 for ? The instruments were set free, why charge for the sounds ?dnekm wrote:The M42 Anomaly VII and the M42 OOTB-Atmospheres soundsets are now available....

At first, I was not going to reply to this:
I do. It pays for the hosting and the bandwidth for all of the free things on my site. And, these sounds are mine. They are not free, and not part of the instrument.
I started porting some of my Anomaly sounds to the M42 because years ago, Tim C actually encouraged me to do so. Back then I never got around to finishing it. Now, in his memory I decided to begin doing so.
This year seems to be my year to honour those who have passed. Much like I am doing a series of Voyages soundsets to honour Guenter (HG Fortune) I decided I would port selected sounds from each Anomaly volume to the M42 to honour Tim C and Dr. Ambient.
Responses like this just have me itching to get back to work on adding more free sounds and presets for the M42, which I had planned..... Maybe now, not so much.
But I will....AutoMotto wrote:And who get's the money for these soundsets you are charging $5 and $8 for ? The instruments were set free, why charge for the sounds ?dnekm wrote:The M42 Anomaly VII and the M42 OOTB-Atmospheres soundsets are now available....

i wouldn't be too concerned by the reaction of one poster to this thread. the prices for the sounds are very reasonable and not out of line at all. thank you for hosting the plugins (though i already had them all as stated by me in an earlier post) i just want to see them live on.
i hope though you will continue to host free soundsets for these. some people have come up with great sounds!

Some people here have already questioned your altruism in hosting these plugs; this just lends them credibility.
None of the really dumb people I knew when I was young are young any more.
