Awesome! Thank you for great "hard to make kick drum with Eclipsis" presets.photonic wrote:Hi all,
Does anyone need some drum sounds from Eclipsis?
I tried some today and I think the sound quite usable. First you hear the sounds dry, only with internal effects of the synth. Second part is with EQ on each sound and the FerricTDS (Variety of Sound) in the master channel.

@photonic: Thanks a lot
The kick is really awesome and the rest also sounds very well. Originally I wouldn`t use drums at all for my track, but now I consider if I do

ok, had a play with the synth, and here's the resulting bank of patches:-

I think i managed to make a decent kick and snare - check out the Kick A-F2 patch and Snare, which is designed to accompany it.
Rhythmic 3 layer patches are the most exciting to make, so i've done a few of those
Hope you enjoy

Well, I had my submission approved after some minor adjustments with my Soundcloud account. Can't wait to see how this pans out.

I have a few questions about the challenge:

- If a synth has built-in modulation effects, can I use them?
- Is it allowed to use something like jBridge to be able to use 32 bit plugins in a 64 bit host? I've made my song in Bitwig because my version of Ableton Live is 64 bit and Eclipsis is 32 bit only. Bitwig has an internal bitbridge, so that's why I used that.
- If it's ok to use jBridge, is it allowed to remake my song in Live? I'm a lot more familiar with Live and its internal effects.

^Absolutely! It's stated in the rules in there somewhere.Reefius wrote:I have a few questions about the challenge:

^Not sure what you mean. If you mean is it ok to use live, absolutely.Reefius wrote:I have a few questions about the challenge:

You can use anything the synth provides, all FX included in the synth are perfectly fine - push it to it's limit!Reefius wrote:

You can use jBridge, it's just compatibility, not altering the sound at all, I'm pretty sure there is no problem doing that.
You can resubmit your song as much as you want, so yes, you can remake it as many times as you like before the deadline.
