How can I stop youtube links from embedding in the thread? It is profoundly annoying.

Go to "Customize KVR" and scroll down to "Automatic YouTube & Vimeo Players Preference".

I just bought Cameleon 5000 only to find out that the user library is no longer available! Does anyone have a backup of the user library for Cameleon????

I do not know if it the full user library, but I have quite a bit of it backed up....

These are "XB" banks right? I have them installed together with Cameleon, there are 16 here. I don't remember, if I grabbed all.

I have 33 .zip files that total 178 Mb. This does not include the bitmaps file, the Batch Analyser, the Morph Maker or the Morp-o-Matic....

I have those as well....

I complained about this a couple of times but now I have the solution thanks to CamelAudio Support.

Getting rid of the ''Show presets available to buy' from within Alchemy.

Yes this is possible - you can do this by doing the following:
1) Shut down your host
2) Go to Alchemy/Libraries/SoundLibraries
3) Deleting all the contents of that folder.
4) Then, restart your host

No.

1) Open the Alchemy data folder and AlchemyConfig.txt
2) Change the line
HidePresetsToBuyAndBox= 0
to
HidePresetsToBuyAndBox= 1
3) Reopen your host and Alchemy,
-Does that remove the option?

Yes.

1) Quit your host

2) Open the Alchemy configuration folder:

Start Menu -> All Programs -> Camel Audio -> Alchemy -> Alchemy Configuration

3) Move the following files to the desktop (these contain your preset ratings and tags, so it will be worth keeping them so that if it doesn't work, you can just put them back).

Alchemy_Preset_Ratings_And_Tags
Alchemy_Preset_Ratings_And_Tags.bak

4) Restart your host and an instance of Alchemy which should scan your presets.

Does this work?

I didn't need to try this last idea but thought it might be useful for others if they are still experiencing difficulties.
