My latest track made using a few samples, Steinberg’s Monologue, NI-Pro52 and Plugsound(Keys).

Drum 'n Bass with crackly snares, a nice lick, a strange structure, some vocal samples and phat basslines, Enjoy.

Well, first off the lo-fi beat is too crunchy on the release, I would resample the hits, and apply a fade-out to the samples, or put a fairly fast release on the drum sampler of choice, of course after the lofi has been applied. Beyond that, I would say add another cleaner sounding drum pattern behind the lofi one to give the break some of the depth that was lost with the bitcrushing. Also, adding a second bassline, a low sub-synth that bends the note down, that plays after the lead bass would give the track more energy. Something akin to the Doon Dooon Dooooooon secondary bassline you hear on so many D&B tracks these days.

Appreciate the feedback, thanks.

Hey, I'm not too picky on a Saturday morning! :D

I like those mallet instruments and the vocal samples juxtaposing the dnb forms. And that odd-time break is pretty cool.

'Fro makes some great suggestions, though! Sounds like he's a guru. 8) I'm just a guy that likes a little dnb in his diet. ;)

at the moment this is charmingly "sit in your comfy chair and listen" sort of d&b, and i like it. nice and disparate, which i find very enjoyable.

for a bigger clubbier sound, atomic_afro's suggestions are good ones indeed. a nice big smooth sub bass would bring this alive (i'd just follow the grimy bassline with the sub pretty much exactly for the most part) along with a layered punchy drum line. but i find it pretty listenable right now.

first of all dnb is not my cup of tea so i don't know of what i will say really is suited for the genre.

there are some really high frequencies in the mix that give me a headache. i'm assuming they are a by-product of the bitcrushing but i am not sure. i also think it could use some more audioble bass to give it some what more balance. to me the song is not really dance-inspiring but with a more balanced production in the terms of frequncies and possebly a more subdued sound it could be pleasant background music. guess you will also have to add some more elements to the composition to make it interesting enough to really listen to with attention, but that is just me. 8)

But adding a bass-line would greatly help it already, i think.

This is a nice track. As said before it lacks some density compared to some of the state-of-the-art dnb tracks. On the other hand you didn't say you want to sound like the rest of the dnb massive. So, why add another bass line or another drum kit when you are happy with what you did? :)
