Mostly Protracker. Before that I dabbled with Noisetracker. There was also a cool app called Music Line Editor that I got on a coverdisk (I think). Had some basic real-time synth stuff in addition to samples. Cutting edge for a stock A1200

. Used it for a couple of tracks. of one of the included demo tracks.

After hearing what the Amiga was capable of I had to have one. So I started my musical adventure with an Amiga 500 in 1990. The software was Oktalyzer. Never had OctaMED and never understood why this was more popular than Oktalyzer. I remember searching disks for samples that were ripped from games and demos, dreaming of having a real studio with synths and samplers one day, hoping to follow in the footsteps of people that were the pinnacle of pop music the decade before. Those were the days...

The first tune I ever made was in Octamed. It was called "MC Hammer Competition". I'm sure you can all work out how it went.
