I usually order my compressors and EQs from Sweetwater and I choose the free shipping option. What's the correct way? :shrug:

Vintage musical equipment sound better, fatter and more lively because of change of technology in resistor manufacturing. Carbon Composite resistors have been replaced by theoretically better/cheaper designs like Metal Film resistors, but in audio equipment the result was dull sound.

Well I made this one up (obviously), but when I googled "resistor technology" to back it up with some technical names, I found out that this misinformation has already populated, just try "carbon composition resistor vs carbon film"... So, if you make up some bs story, there's is 90% chance someone already believes it.
