Ummm.... dude.... have you been to the camel audio website lately? You seem to be a little 'out of the loop'. Suggestion: maybe try holding your breath until you get your opportunity to have a 'pompous giggle'? I hear that it brings good luck.ariston wrote:Isn't it though?Sampleconstruct wrote:How incredibly, over-extremely and most hilariously funny.ariston wrote:Probably been said before, but I would have myself a huge laugh, or at the very least a pompous giggle, if eventually Alchemy 2 did appear and all those who frantically sold their copy and thus gave up their upgrade path were left holding the bag.

I'm wondering, now that CA is gone, if I use my Alchemy too much will it die?
Should I use it less so it lasts longer?
Happy Musiking!

You know I am thinking about building a dedicated offline machine running unsupported OS just to keep Alchemy (and other orphanware... awesomeware?) on hand for decades. Am in the midst of building an i7 monster for the next 5 years' use (I hope) and Alchemy will be on it for sure; just thinking about the future a bit.ariston wrote:... meanwhile, Alchemy is still and will remain an awesome synth for years to come.

It will die if you use it too little. You need to turn all the knobs at least once a week to stop them going rusty.dsan@mail.com wrote:I'm wondering, now that CA is gone, if I use my Alchemy too much will it die?
