I just have judged the synth, not the soundbanks.

Post

Oh, when you said "lazy people doing shit soundbanks" it came off just a little judgmental to me.... :roll:

Okay, so now I'm confused. Are you saying the synth is crap or the people who design for it are crap?

Post

I think its,
Synth = the best,
People = lazy,
(others') soundbanks = shit.

You just don't get it... :dog: Harmor is the best resynthesizer. I don't care what good/bad soundbanks are available for it. And now stop hijacking the thread with your stupid offtopic bullshit.

Did you read the thread carefully? I never said a bad word about Harmor. I really love it... but i don't like "sound designers" who just bump (you know)... that's all. So it's up to you to release a really good soundbank.

Cool. Well, this is one designer who won't let you down. I am still curious to know exactly what kind of sounds you're looking for. An example would be great.

I'm going to do a very well rounded set of sounds like I did for Serum and Zebra. I have to admit, I'm not heavily into Trance, House, Dubstep and similar genres, so I'll be doing a lot of studying of the sounds and how they're used. That's part of the reason why this is going to take a good 3 months to finish.

Basically what he's saying is that it is up to you to make patches that are suitable for him to sample and sell as one-shots. So far everyone has been making super modulated sounds not suitable for him to sample and sell as one-shots.

Awwwww snap.
But yeah.
Wildfunk why dont you sell your presets if the market is so in need of simple dated sounds like what you seem to specialize in?

:P
Sorry, thats just a lil half joke.
Your sounds arent bad, just maybe on the simpler side. Not a bad thing.
But why not sell banks along with the wavs?

Simple sounds?! Just because they don't sound "complex" like bumped resynthesis images with modulation? ;)

I should put my wav files into Harmor and sell it as soundbank? ;) I can't sell banks because the stabs are created with several (mostly hardware) synths and processed after in the daw.
