Unfortunately Harmor isn't very popular in the (deep) house scene... so it would be a waste of time to create a soundset like this. But i'm doing exclusive Harmor sounds for some house guys and that's more worthwhile than a soundset for "all"

No but I tried all the "Addictive" synths available.

Hey Liquid, not to go off topic, but I see in your sig that you have MUX and Bazille. I have MUX but haven't bitten the bullet on Bazille yet, though I have been demoing it.

What's your opinion of them side by side as modular synths, sound wise and flexibility wise? My opinion is MUX is more flexible but Bazille has a more cutting an unusual sound.

Your take on them?

Of course... but also all resynthesis tools. I don't care what technique they are using behind (mostly additive i guess). Feel free to post "better" tools than Harmor (please with examples).

Hey Wild, just checked out your sig and see that you sell sample packs. So these are wav files that could be used in any sample playback device or any synth that can import samples, correct?

Is there any place where I can go to hear some demos of these packs, even if just in a finished song? I'm just trying to get an idea of the stuff that you do. As I said, my education is a little weak in some areas.

I have only have Youtube videos on-which to base any opinion, therefore I have none. Perhaps they will finish the mac versions at some point and I will be able to try it out (I am hoping for this soon

Having said that, it appears that, based on the videos I have seen, Harmor is likely a *great* synth for modern genres, but not particularly flexible. The same can be said for other synths that I really like & do have some hands-on experience with (i.e. Massive, Hive, etc.).

Can anyone point me to videos that show this synth doing something other than vocoded/dirty bass sounds or simple pads?

MUX is more of an environment while Bazille is for me an experimental sound machine. I'm not a sound designer but I'm trying hard with FM ATM.
Probably the wrong starting point. Yes I'm from the early seventies but no luck in owning a Moog or ARP. Pianos and Organs (Hammond etc.).
My first synth was the DX7, this probably explains the FM passion.
I use MUX mostly for combining VST (adding more modularity to them by controlling parameters), effects and Rewire all together.
Now Rewire is out for me.
Trancit just made a better version of the Reason Alligator with the MUX modules. Amazing.
I don't see the MUX as a synth module per se, even though it has a phenomenal sound engine, Bazille of course it is, and at the very top indeed.

I assure you, I would never do that. In fact, I don't buy wave packs ever. I only use waves that I create myself or are freeware. I'm really old school about creating patches.

Thanks for the info on the demos. I'll check them out just to get an idea of what kind of music you're into. That will help me in my own sound design for catering to those genres, assuming Harmor can recreate these sounds. My gut tells me it won't be too difficult.

I think it's flexible enough, maybe sometimes a little bit awkward. Digital clean sound (but you can add clicks and noise with the resynthesis of course).

No... but i consider making a showcase video without any dirty basses, vocoders and wobbles

What instruments do you need?
