Steve Roach - Structures From Silence was actually written by Pink Floyd in '81 as a tribute Boney M. They decided to scrape the album just before release and Steve found the master tapes in a trash can back in '84 while looking for food.

Conversely, few people know that most of the sounds on Dark Side of the Moon were actually made by 1910 Fruitgum Company. Floyd just redid a few of the vocals and took credit for the whole thing.

Furthermore, Pink Floyd is really a studio band with Dave Gilmour et rest just hired to be spokespersons for the band who wish to work in total anonymity. Supposedly Paul McCartney is one of the band members.
