as VW is a must-have (to me, so i still have it), i voted for Nitro, which is maybe the very best effect i ever had since i use computers.
It´s actually an effects monter for me (i for one dont see it as just a filter), as i can do so many things with it, on whatever soundsource .. just doesnt matter. I mostly use it for crazier stuff, and the best thing is: the soundquality .. ubertiptop!
ahhhh .. psp just rules!

I would have picked a gift certificate to a music store and then let them pick what they want instead.. something like audiomidi would have been ideal (since they ship internationally)
$100 gift certificate: http://www.audiomidi.com/common/cfm/pro ... m?pid=4397
plus
$50 gift certificate: http://www.audiomidi.com/common/cfm/pro ... m?pid=4545

but oh well.. I missed both the original thread and this one so I guess that leaves me out

Rhino.
Tough choice though between the Voxengo and Rhino.

I've always found Rhino appealing, but typically don't use synths enough to justify purchase (I'm a sampler guy, mainly), so it would make a good prize for me.
No way in hell I'm going to win, however!

At least not this month: I'm taking a skewed approach to the genre. It might rank in the top ten, given luck, but not at #1.sickle666 wrote:why would you say that?Markleford wrote:No way in hell I'm going to win, however!
Mind you, this isn't based upon a dour outlook: I've placed in the past, but this month is highly unlikely!
