Hello!
I was wondering if there are anyone that know how I can recreate this sound.(the short noted leadsound).
Would be great if it's possible with the Access Virus synth.
Sound
Thanks in advance, and I appreciate every tip that can get me closer to this sound:)

yes, the virus is capable of alot:)
I hope it's capable of doing something like this sound.
speaking of the virus, I have the virus powercore. anyone know when the multidsp license will be avaiable?

I would start on a synth that has a good sound on its "classic 303" preset(s). Then I would run the sequencer, with some really big kick/bass combo going on 4/4 just like in your example, and tweak my "303" so it sits well with that particular kick and change the character of the sound from a 303 to something close to what you hear in the example.
The 303 would then get some chorus, preferably one with some kind of analog flavour (maybe you've got a good one on the synth itself?), perhaps just a tinge of delay (very very short) to further destabilize the sound.
Now there should be a nice sounding thing, although it's not going to be quite "there", it's going to sound a bit too clean.
This is where I might take the newly created "303" and sample it (yep, sample the vst). Load it up into the sampler and add some filter/bitcrushing, perhaps to 12 bit. Start the kick again and now have it trigger the sampler. In the sampler, I'd now play with the ADSR env, for the volume and for the filter.
You'd be surprised how exact you can make this sort of sound without any viral influences
In your excerpt I'd bet 20 quid it is a SAMPLER playing the lead, not a synth!
Cheers!
