You know, after some thought. It's probable that Izotope bought Camelaudio to hush you guys that were bashing Iris2 and cheering Camelaudio on for the expected Alchemy 2 with an expanded spectral synthesis toolkit, and all the added goodies in additive re-synthesis.

It don't mean a thing IIAGTS

I can't believe I fell for it. You didn't get me with the first one, but that second one was a really twisted, tricky masterstroke.hivkorn wrote:IT S THE SECOND TIME THAT I DO A RICK ROLL MASS MASSACRE ON THE SAME TREAD!

Who doesn't secretly enjoy a good rick rolling? Even the victims love it.

Does anybody else around here think back to the early days of this thread with nostalgia? Habitually checking and rechecking as it grew a bunch of new pages every day - thinking that any minute - a few more hours, or a few more days, *somebody* who actually *knew* what was going on would SURELY 'spill the beans' and we would all know what actually happened to CA?? When's the last time you checked on this thread thinking there was any chance whatsoever of learning more about the truth??? I think I may have to review my 'stages of grief' chart and review where I'm at...

Think we need to open a house open on bets as to how many posts/pages are reached prior to official news or no new ever and the thread gets lost in the midst of time.

So I did some detective work, and some general poking around, and figured it out. Camel Audio was bought by none other than the world's greatest detective, the batman!
It's apparently got something to do with speech resynthesis for the voice recognition tech in his bat computer. That, and also him trying to figure out why Nolan made him sound like crap.
There were a few key pieces of information that pointed to this, but the real clincher was Camel Audio's aforementioned date for ending support i.e. July 7th, just two days before comic con .. duh

That's what I think is the most likely theory. It would make a lot of sense.XFX wrote:You know, after some thought. Maybe Ben discovers Alchemy5 becomes self aware, taps into nuclear missile batteries, and launches them in hopes of destroying all humans. Future Hippie has been sent back in time to warn the Camels that their software must NOT be refined any further. But the Alchemy5 system is aware of this and thus sends it's own champion (In the form of an Apple representative) back in time to take out Future Hippie! But Future Hippie is victorious over the Apple representative and World War III never occurs.aMUSEd wrote:That's what I think is the most likely theory.
