I would like to use my own GUI script for Spectral Conquest v 1.0.4 (64-bit) running on Windows 7.

What location should I use?

I tried
C:\Users\<username>\AppData\Roaming\Expert Sleepers\Spectral Conquest\Skins

but that did not work.

Did you create the full bundle folder structure? See e.g. the published Augustus Loop or Silent Way skins.
