the only problem with using those is that the IAP versions had been reworked and/or stripped since the mobile version doesnt have spectral synthesis and some other parts. So the presets that used that functionality where either removed or reworked. If you import those I think you just end up with straight saws in place of those parts

Maybe Camel will release them as downloadable items then, they might just not have thought of that when they took them from the store.

If what happened with Redmatica is any indication of what to expect, then well... I wouldn't expect them to make IAP available for download.aMUSEd wrote:Maybe Camel will release them as downloadable items then, they might just not have thought of that when they took them from the store.

I can confirm this now.BiancaNeve wrote:It seems that the app and your receipts for IAPs are still in Apples cloud. But the sound files them selves aren'tsprnva wrote:That's not good. I assumed that once the IAPs were bound to your account that you'd retain access to them. Even pulled apps can still be installed once they're in your account.
A couple of people have reported getting e-mails fom Camel post closedown to say they are aware of the problem and are working on a solution.

Looks like early guesses that Apple did the deed were correct.
"Apple appears to have acquired popular music plug-in and effect maker Camel Audio, based on information found on corporate registry site Companies House [PDF]. Camel Audio's address has been updated to 100 New Bridge Street, which is Apple's London address, and the company's sole director is now listed as Apple lawyer Heather Joy Morrison, suggesting the company is in the possession of Apple."

Same here... The answer from Camel:I have bought the full package (pro + all sound libraries). I recently reinstalled my iPad and I really can't see how I can get access to these IAPs anymore. When I restore,it says that one item was restored and then I can't see any of the sound libraries.
We're really sorry you've had trouble with in-app purchases. There is a current problem in the app which prevents restoring previous purchases in Alchemy Mobile. We are aware of this problem and are working on fixing it as soon as we can.
We apologize for any inconvenience or frustration this has caused - we'll have an update for the app out as soon as we possibly can, which will allow your purchases to be restored.
After this, in-app purchases will be restorable as normal via the app.
All the best.
