And the award for the most feminine /least masculine synth interface goes to............

lololol! While I must agree with you there I'd assume Image-line weren't going for "masculine" with a plugin that's name is based on a rare japanese cherry blossom

And I just saw Propellerheads Thor mentioned above and ive always liked the look of that one as well! Agreed though it would be a no-brainer if the gui was a bit larger

Never been all that bothered by GUIs, but I've always liked the look of PolyAna (despite that fact that I always forget about it when pondering a new synth)

Would love a real h/w synth that looks like that - just a massive panel of big and little knobs and switches. I imagine it would be a tactile dream to play with. I'd be like a kid in a sweetshop.
Q. Why is a mouse when it spins?
A. The higher the fewer.

Prunus serrulata isn't rare. Anyway it's a beautiful gui loved by males and females (much as Hanami is enjoyed by both sexes).

Who names a synth after a cherry blossom ? What's next ? Chrysanthemum ? Pansies ?

I don't really care what the names of synths are, but I know who to give the award to the company with the best preset names. Here's a sample from MWobbler:

Ovum blockage
Mouthwash portliness
Sourpuss virile
Beam scrotum
Tabbouleh poo

... and the list goes on. And those are just the PG13 ones.

I'm not worried about my sexuality I know I'm straight, that is a nice looking synth. You will find most females wear black and don't use pink interior décor.

What's the name of that one? Already saw it in another thread here. Looks great.

I don't care if a GUI is beautiful or not (for that I might as well watch Brazilian samba dancers 8) ). As long as it's big and legible enough, it is fine with me. A realistic hardware look is a welcome bonus.

With few exceptions the most beautiful interfaces are not generally vsti's but belong to vst's. Have you seen some of these modern eq's? wow.
