What's the name of that one? Already saw it in another thread here. Looks great.

BTW, just learned the same guy made Serum GUI, no wonder they match so nicely ^^

But I think the color of the blue displays and the color of the big display don't match at all,

It won't bother anybody if I launch a new thread like this one but... exclusively talking about the GUI of freeware plugins?

It think that it could be an occasion to applause some developers (and designer partners) on their artistic talent for free (what we could call "passion and huge generosity!").

I think an interface can be beautiful to look at but not be intuitive at all. This topic is never one I think of when buying a synth. Priority is demoing it to see if it's intuitive. Beautifully appealing is 2nd rate. Often times if it's not intuitive, I won't think it's beautiful. Uhe Diva is quite beautiful in my eyes, but I don't think it's that intuitive.

So this thread is asking us to mention what we think are the most beautiful UI, but not implying it's also intuitive. Sometimes it can be both. Omnisphere/Trillian would fall in the both category. A classy look, but fairly intuitive (Omni 2 will be more intuitive so that's why I rate it here).

All is said and done, I'd choose FabFilter Twin 2 and Xfer Serum as the most beautiful.

I'd say this thread is a hard one for me to pick my top 5 beautiful synths because I usually don't look for a beautiful interface, but an intuitive one. Like Serum is one of the most intuitive interfaces. It's beautiful also, though I think it could be less dark. The combo of being both beautiful and intuitive is quite a feat.

As for being nice looking, but not intuitive my picks would be: Possibly Bazille and Ace would fall into that category. Not beautiful, but nice looking. Yet they aren't intuitive for me. Way too messy. And actually they start to get ugly after a bunch of modulations being cabled in.

I honestly think that soft synths shouldn't be trying to emulate hardware and be 'beautiful' because they are emulating classic real wood analog synths or something. Do your own thing in the software world where you live. Don't be a sad imitation of something you're not. If they want to add some metal or wood ends, that's fine, but tailor the layout to the software world, not hardware. The best example I have is Omnisphere/Trillian. It gives us some real world look with a tailored software interface. It's nice looking and also intuitive.

I'm not worried about your sexuality either.........

"Most females" ? You know over 3 billion women or are you just talking out your arse ?

I know a lot of women whose favorite color is Pink including my ex-wife. Maybe that's why I hate pink so much..........

But no that's a horrible looking synth............
