It worked now, but I do find your pricing a bit dubious, frankly. In your original offer mail it said 49 USD for existing customers.
However, at the end of the day I paid about 52 Euros (i.e. 67 dollars, that can't be because of VAT).

On the confirmation page it says:
59 Euros (i.e. 76 dollars, where did that price come from?!)
Discount 20.55 Euros
VAT 9.66 Euros
Final 51.68 Euros

Seems more than the usual currency rip-off

Not disappointed, I just don't understand where the amounts come from, it is not transparent. When it says on your site 49 dollars, I would expect that to be converted into euros (almost 38), and then VAT to be added, which in my country is 23% (i.e. almost 9 euros in this case). All in all it is between 46 and 47 euros, not 52.

And I have already written what it said on the MyCommerce site, I have no idea where those values come from. Maybe you gave me the wrong discount, i.e. not the 50% one for existing customers...

Sure, it's just 6 euros or so difference, but it creates a negative impression...

Anyway, downloaded the file, took almost two hours

I was able to unzip and install Calliope with no problems. I have also had fairly good response from Sonic Cat when I've inquired via email.
That error looks like you have a corrupted download. In the future you may not want to wait several weeks before trying to extract a zip file that you've purchased. Many companies only allow a few days to re-download purchased software.

Well, the problem seems to be that I cannot download big files without getting such errors. After all, it has happened in both downloads, i.e. 100%. It probably has to do with this mobile Internet access. So it doesn't matter when I unzip stuff or if I could re-download it again, because it would happen again, nor can I download such huge files again just like that, I have limited monthly traffic.
So unless they send me a CD this money was probably thrown out the window

I use wireless and it downloaded just fine.

Here are the usual things I have to take into consideration if I problems with large downloads.

1. Try using a different unzipper. WinRAR, 7Zip, Stuffit Expander ...
2. Make sure real-time virus detection software is turned off during large downloads.

It's too late for 2., obviously. I had never download such big files before and I won't buy sample stuff again, believe me. Not having that Calliope thing is not the problem, but having wasted 50+ euros is...

I have tried two different programs, they both say the same thing.

You should have used a download manager because most of the time they handle larger downloads way better and avoid corrupted downloads.

Then again, nobody can say you haven't tried.

I didn't expect such downloads to still be a problem in times of broadband, which is why I did not do anything with the file after downloading it. I was very busy back then and all I did was make a copy of the - faulty - file on my pen drive immediately

Can somebody enlighten me on the differences between Calliope, Ravity, and Purity? I wanted to buy one of them (was thinking Purity), but I didn't know how much overlap there was between the different programs. Demoing out Purity and Ravity, Purity seems to have the same patches that Ravity does plus a few more. Does this mean that all of Ravity's Patches are included in Purity? And are all of the patches from Purity also in Calliope?

If there are enough differences to warrant buying all 3, than I'll go that route. But the Luxonix website doesn't seem to compare the different products and their customer support seems reserved to those who have already made a purchase.

OK. This is an old post. I bought the software today 6/14/2016 and the download is most deff corrupted. I tried on two different computers with two different internet connections. Both connections high speed cable. There is a 50% off sale so I thought I would try it out. Paid the $50 and got nothing. Your only allowed 3 tries or 14 days to download it and the 3 tries is not documented anywhere that I saw. Only found out when all three tries to download the calliope file failed. Patiently awaiting some sort of response as I have emailed support. I have a username and serial code but no software. Backwards...lol
