I agree about GRM tools, really interesting plugins, but some of it almost unusable because there is abnormal latency (also cpu load). Maybe for offline render.

I don't know if they've been mentioned yet, but I just grabbed all the glitchmachines plugins. They are definitely unconventional and approach the FSU rhythmic effects in a less cookie cutter way than lots of the market does. They also come with a bunch of samples which (while not really useful to me) could be a bonus for folks who need strange starting points for even stranger outcomes.

Edit: There are no demos and as far as I can tell no return policy which is a big turnoff for some people, but they have two freebies to give an idea of their stuff and they are quality stable plugins. You may want to see if you could arrange a return setup with the guys if you decide you hate the vsts or if they are unstable on your system. They are very friendly, and easy to reach via their Facebook page.

Not quite plug-ins but I imagine you could use these to make some great sample material!

I snarfed an old MacMini to play with these just as they stopped selling them because of his disk crashV0RT3X wrote:Not quite plug-ins but I imagine you could use these to make some great sample material!

Set Theory claim:
"In some cases there is an object called red that contains everything that is red. In much the same way a pot is a plate.
Red is Red and anything that is Red is an object, a class in itself or a real thing if you prefer"

Great thread, the Glitchmachine plugins look really interesting. I'm putting Cryogen on the shopping list. Thanks for all the links.
