How about it?

Some topics should have warnings on them about one needing hazmat suits for glowworms ... or some really heavy duty suits of such nature.

Reason threads being the topmost ...

Any other thread subjects you find a little too much??

I don't think 'Reason' was the cause of those problems, just it turned out to be an excuse. Someone has a beef with someone for a while and it played out in this venue.
Albeit there is a tendency for a couple of things to bring out certain behavior, bashing software that one doesn't really use, having ego invested in what they use and something about the other group [FL, Reason] offends.
It's not going to vanish through one or another effort I think.

I'm fine without censorship of strings of ASCII. If you're unable to ignore ASCII that upsets you, maybe a developer could provide you with a product that helps you avoid viewing ASCII you personally don't like? The last thing I need is you deciding which ASCII should be withheld from my view.

It was also about you advocating censorship ("moratorium") -- you suggesting that I shouldn't be allowed to read something, simply because it upsets you. As if you'd have any right to grab a book out of my hands because it was too "contentious" for your personal taste.

Why should I be denied something I might want to read, simply because you lack the self-control to ignore topics you dislike? Why don't you try taking responsibility for your own actions, instead of running to big brother to protect you? Why don't you grow even the smallest balls?

I was not advocating censorship, per se. I was having a bit of fun with the idea of there being warnings put up regarding the use of hazmat suits for glowworms and such....
