And that's what you call a silly thread?
Yes.
That was a sarcastic question. Nevertheless, I think OP could ask any questions, even about donuts, but in the correct sections of the forum, of course.

Nice one, thanks for the link. My wife really likes Muppet version of "Mahna Mahna" song, I think she will like this one too. :)
Peace and tolerance

The OP, memyselfandus, loves starting threads. Many of them are silly or pointless:

* Still using windows 95 for your Daw?
* What is your favorite Doughnut?
* Do you think Camel Audio were bought out just for Alchemy?

The Camel one was pointless because we already had enough Camel threads.

Thanking people is good but it didn't belong in the Hosts forum. It has been moved to the correct forum. Also thanking a specific developer or company would be meaningful. Thanking every developer on the planet seems like the OP enjoys posting for the sake of posting.
Sure. A lot of his questions seems "silly" to a bunch of us jaded, hardnosed cynics here. But it did raise some interesting statements as well. But, geeesh, gentlemen, to not be thankful? To anyone? I would like to see some of us malcontents put our programming prowess on the line and do something for absolutely nothing and put up with the dishing of the abuse some developers get here :dog:

Self-entitlement much?

Please reread what I wrote. I am not against thanking people. I said thanking a specific developer is meaningful. Thanking all developers in the world is less meaningful because it's so vague. When you post in the wrong forum and you add silly posts on Win 95 and doughnuts, the net result IMHO is someone who enjoys spamming KVR with a bunch of useless threads.
