Hi there!

I'm interested in playing live with this kind of a setup. A prerecorded loop playing from my laptop while I accompany from my keyboard. I have to have the flexibility to decide on the fly when to change from loop 1 to loop 2, because every gig is different. Changing the loop can't be too fussy of a process, 'cause this is a one-man performance - no time for lots of mouse clicks etc. I thought of using Sampletanks 3 set list, only to discover that I can't import my loops... Would appreciate any suggestions that won't entail buying an arranger keyboard...

Thanks!
Elik

Ableton Live was built around this concept, but might cost more than an arranger keyboard. I've also heard that Sony's Acid is loop-based, and I know there's a free version, but I haven't used it. In fact, any DAW could be set up to do this job, so you might want to look for free and cheap ones.
