You're not making any sense....again. Your comment that analog synths were used on many "legendary" records begged the obvious response that they were the only thing available for many years so that's what got used.....when digital and hybrids came along the old analogs fell out of favor. For example I sold my Juno 60 for quite a bit less than I paid for it new and many times less than I could have sold it now....and was lucky to find someone to buy it. I wouldn't pay $50 for a Juno 60 now.Lotuzia wrote: Hmmm. I did not wait your remarkable comments ( ... ) to realize that some people have the necessary talent to make synths sound right. These people are usually called musicians btw, and they use musical instruments, like, sometimes, analog synthesizers . Your anti analog synths crusade just sounds weird ( imho, etc ), but well, I guess nobody cares, so, just carry on
Certainly even you.....or perhaps everyone but you...can understand that "synthesis" is far more than a Saw Wave run through a Low Pass Filter.
My point that many of those classic analog synths you cherish so much would have been replaced in a heartbeat by VSTi instruments if they were available at the time is valid and stands as written.
