Such as ?
I think you are asking for the sole purpose of dismissing any answer given... but pardon me if that is not correct.
No I'm asking because I don't think anyone can give a real answer.................

But you don't?

Maybe the difference is that your efforts are strong :P

This.
Opposing different musical instruments is very far from the spirit of music imo. I have both hw and sw synths. And could not be happier :phones:
I own a whole rack of hardware and an Ensoniq VFX and ESQ-1. I've owned and sold a ton more but my hardware serves more as a museum than for composition. "In the Box" or CAMP (Computer Aided Music Production) as I like to call it is so far superior in both sound and functionality that I can't see why anyone would want to work with hardware but use whatever floats your boat..........

And where can we listen to your music? :-)

It's easy to give a real answer... you would still refuse to acknowledge it cause you are trolling and not interested in an honest discussion.

Nice try :-)

So give your real answer. I'm not trolling anyone. Give us a cogent argument that supports your statement "As for analogue, it has sonic characteristics that digital cannot match". What "sonic characteristics" ?

As for my music. I'm in my guitar phase right now so not really pertinent to the "analog" discussion. This is the only thing I'm sharing at the moment.........

Anyway more to the topic of synths while I'm not recording any synth based stuff right now I do play my soft synths including Sylenth on an almost daily basis. I like to layer several and just play for the joy of playing. Sylenth 1, Dune 2 and Z3TA+2 make a particularly awesome trio............tons of fun. :tu:

My point being that music does not have to be recorded or shared with anyone to be considered music. If one just plays for pure joy with the only audience being the true "Creator" it's still music...........

You can hear it. Well, obviously not you. But that's something you've to deal with yourself.

All three at once, that sounds like overkill, and together they will use quite some CPU after all.
I want to go the opposite way, focusing on minimalist but pleasant sounds. Sold Element today, now S1 is my only quality synth left :)

Now that people are finally able to program "clean" sounding synths without artifacts, people want to have the imperfections back and a lot of people are programming emulations of old analog synths...

See that's the kind of hilarious answer we always get..........."ooooh you can hear it and if you can't it's your fault". What is "it" ? You can't describe "it" because it doesn't exist. I've owned analog synths........as in the past. I've moved on because they no longer hold any appeal to me......
