another unfinished but solid enough to pick up.. thought i had enough songs and ideas but in november this kind of nosed its way to the front, so i used it as a test for my "wip" voice synth and float.

http://xoxos.net/temp/preview/thereyougo.mp3

this one stands out as the pieces are disparate/from different moods and conceptions, but still got lumped together, but the middle section was pretty ace for noodling. my production methods rarely approach complex and overwhelming, so i was delighted.

bit tired of it now, still finding mistakes (eg. loud consonants ... synth and piece are wip) dunno what you'll hear... i got 'phones.

funny cartoon, runny harpoon, the fact is i don't have enough indica to sufficiently impede the brain.

as with 'lavender' a couple more years production and these tracks will be on the distant album "high kingdom, the legend of pothead master," which explores various technological textures.. eg. lavender was extremely quantised, tyg isn't.

Very interesting music Xoxos - enjoyed that a lot. Is that all your own synthesis techniques used there?

I love the late-night club atmosphere, and the rhythm section really seems to swing. The vocal synth gives it a surreal SciFi character. I could visualise an alien/robotic band playing this in a bar scene in the next Star Wars movie,. Very cool.

Good work :)

attaining a thorough satisfaction for being able to realise this mode of expressivity.. i prefer older jazz recordings, and often you only catch a few partials with soft voicing, so composing chords is like additive synthesis. occasionally able to hit vintage tone that appeals to me. i guess other people are hearing some potential as well :) for so long i never thought it would be possible like this!

the end of this fell apart, i started stacking some odd chord which didn't fit the conception and it sort of fell over, so i left it like that, because sometimes that's what ideas do.

kind of a buddhist koan, with a bundle of weed. i think the last verse is pretty b grade ("it keeps reap-eating, it's sow very clear") :hihi:

synths are aurora (like synth1) and float for the ensemble patches.
