Glass viper any news?

Has anyone had any contact with dev over email? I suspect the form on the site is not active. Or not read.
Having a normal email would be great.
The Midi CC implementation is sorta unfinished. Reaper doesn't see many params that would be great to have.
I'd love to assign keyboard shortcuts to the different voices (oscs).
It's a delightful synth hidden underneath a difficult interface.
Does anybody know how to assign category for a preset you created? Or save a new preset on a bank?
Right now overwriting the default presets is the only way.

Thank-you for the feedback and nice comments. Glass Viper is 8 years old now and it is what it is. I'm proud of it's sound production and variable graphed LFO system, and the reverb etc.
As usual with a synth, the people that get their hands deep inside the mechanics of the waveform building will get the most out of it. But it does live in the crowd of a preset happy world.
Any variation on it will become an entirely new synthesizer, built from the ground up using the same basic waveform ideas.
I do want to build a new synthesizer soon, but I have no timeline for it at the moment.
Cheers,
Dave Hoskins.

Thanks for the update Dave.
Plugins are getting better and better (in my opinion not "by the day", as some like to claim, but better). What are things that you would have done differently? zero-delay filters? Oversampling? Does Glass Viper really need this? It sounds great at it is...
Synth1 is probably older and a weapon of choice for many.
I just bought GV, pity to hear there will not be more work done on it. This is where people like U-he really stand out. Pity I actually like GV better than anything they offer

GV was designed completely free of any direct influences and it probably doesn't do things that everybody expects - like I said, it is what it is.

Thanks Dave, I think that would be welcomed by many people.DaveHoskins wrote:Any variation on it will become an entirely new synthesizer, built from the ground up using the same basic waveform ideas.

BTW, GV on reaper at times stops producing sound/animation. I haven't been able to pinpoint when. Restarting reaper fixes it.

Dave,
Thank you for making Glass Viper. It had me smiling more than once today. If you made the presets, you are a talented musician on top of a talented dev. The creativity in the concept for GV is staggering.

Hello Tibor, thanks for considering GV. It's still selling OK. I'm currently writing a follow-up synth - possibly called Diamond Viper, which will use a similar but easier to understand interface. All resizeable of course.
It will be a separate thing though, NOT an upgrade to Glass Viper.
Cheers,
Dave Hoskins.
