Pro Tools, FXpansion VST to RTAS Adapter, and Kirnu Cream

Please forgive me for my ignorance. Does anyone know how to use Kirnu Cream with Pro Tools?

I have successfully wrapped the plugin with FXpansion's VST to RTAS Adapter and it loads up without any problems. My question is how to use it in Pro Tools. What little tips and suggestions I could find were not very helpful.

It didn't work by creating an instrument track, then inserting Cream, then a VST synth after it, nor did it work by reversing the two. I also tried creating two instrument tracks, inserting Cream in the first track, inserting a VST synth in the second one, then routing the Cream instrument track to the VST synth track. I also checked to make sure the MIDI channel out/in was matched up as well.

Can anyone provide any pointers or provide a walk-through to help out? I would greatly appreciate your time and help with this.
