OMG, wagtunes is going to make 30 posts explaining why S1 is not worth the money
Please avoid mentioning it lol. He's looking for an unique, very modulatable, sub 200 synth that it's definitely NOT S1.

you have quite a collection. for my own curiosity, which synths that you have do you like the most...
synths I really like that you don't list: Razor (maybe it's counted under reaktor) and Nemesis

Don't worry. I'm not going to harp on Sylenth1.Yorrrrrr wrote:OMG, wagtunes is going to make 30 posts explaining why S1 is not worth the moneyPlease avoid mentioning it lol. He's looking for an unique, very modulatable, sub 200 synth that it's definitely NOT S1.
The member who recommended Rhino. Never heard of it. Checked out the demo tracks and was very impressed, especially when I got to the OB-Xa. Seems it can do glassy as well as analog.
Definitely going on my list as a possible, especially at such a low price.
Don't know how I ever missed this one. Thanks.

That is an extremely difficult question to answer. For one thing, if I bought a synth it means I really liked it to begin with.jeffb01 wrote:you have quite a collection. for my own curiosity, which synths that you have do you like the most...

I'd probably say that my top 10 looks something like this in no special order. I'll just do this alphabetically.
Bazille
KarmaFX Modular
MUX Modular
Omnisphere
Reaktor 5
Serum
Synthmaster
The Mangle
XILS 4
Zebra 2
This is not to say that I don't love a lot of the other synths including a couple of free ones that I really love
Sonigen Modular
Synth1

Might be because the last sale was 5 years ago!wagtunes wrote:The member who recommended Rhino. Never heard of it. Checked out the demo tracks and was very impressed, especially when I got to the OB-Xa. Seems it can do glassy as well as analog.

But it's a great synth, I bought it during the AudioMIDI sale some (5?) years ago!
Unfortunately the developer doesn't make any advertisements for it and he doesn't send out newsletters, either - I coincidentally stumbled over a thread recently where he announced an update!

Yes, there's a 64 bit version included, too!wagtunes wrote:Is it 64 bit?Tricky-Loops wrote:Might be because the last sale was 5 years ago!wagtunes wrote:The member who recommended Rhino. Hive.
I absolutely love that synth!
(p.s. I'm not a u-he fanboy - far from it actually - but Hive is currently my favorite VSTi)

With all the U-He stuff that I already have, I just don't see what Hive gives me that Zebra 2 doesn't.bailees7irish wrote:Hive.
