Edit Option in all generators

Ok, here is another topic from me. Lately I am dealing a lot with RapidComposer, so everything I don't understand or find strange will be posted here in this forum.

The latest thing is this:

In every generator window down at the bottom you'll find the options Regenerate!, Preview, Edit, Save and two more.
Ok, I want to edit the phrase.
So I click on edit. I get to the phrase editor. I can now shift notes or even add totally new ones. And I can save the phrase as a new phrase. Great.
What I did not get so far are two things:

1. Why is the Apply Changes button at the bottom left always greyed out?
2. Where can I EDIT the phrase in the generator for real? Let's say for example like in the Manual Editing window of the rhythm generator.

Yes, you are right, it would be a better workflow if you could immediately apply the edited 'intermediate/unapplied' phrase to the composition. I fixed this today, so the Apply button will be available in the next beta version.
