I went to a Microsoft/Roland developers conference in Seattle a few years ago during whilch an alleged step-time wizard was wheeled out and his 'compositions' inflicted on us. If I'd have known about your working method then I'd have taken you along and we could have stormed the stage

Seattle? Did you mean Settle (Cumbria), or is it one of funny places south of Sheffield?

I did have a keyboard once, one of those horrible cheetah master keyboards (got it with me sampler), but I sold it in favour of a couple of nights down the pub..
