Channel Layouts
MORPH 2 comes as two binaries, MORPH and MORPH SC (side-chain), to accommodate for the particluarities of the various plugin formats.
AU: dual mono (MORPH), stereo with stereo side-chain (MORPH SC)
RTAS: dual mono (MORPH), stereo with mono sie-chain (MORPH SC), quad-to-stereo (MORPH)
AAX Native: dual mono (MORPH), stereo with mono sie-chain (MORPH SC), quad-to-stereo (MORPH)
VST: dual mono (MORPH), quad-to-stereo (MORPH)
Regarding the ilok, it seems it doesn't need the dongle but the free account only:
Copy Protection
MORPH uses the latest PACE copy protection, which allows you to place your activation on your machine or on an iLok 2* (not included). You will need a free iLok.com account to use our software, including the demos – but you do not necessarily need the iLok 2 dongle, if your machine has internet access. All required software is installed along with our plugins, but we generally recommend downloading the latest versions directly from iLok.com.

Yes, it can run as true stereo – depending on format either via stereo-with-stereo-sidechain, or as a 4-to-2 channel configuration.wakax wrote:one question:
is Zynaptiq Morph stereo!?

Exactly, thank you! You can choose to either activate to your machine or to an iLok 2 - the choice is yours. This was very important to us as there are as many reasons to want a dongle as there are reasons to NOT want one.Neon Breath wrote: Regarding the ilok, it seems it doesn't need the dongle but the free account only:

I'm Kyma'd up and I have to say that this is the only other morpher on the same level.
In fact the convenience factor is way way higher than Kyma. It's a lot of effort and time to morph in Kyma and I often end up using Morph instead. And tbh there's not a huge amount of difference in quality ...unless you spend massive amounts of time tweaking the Tau editor....and even then I sometimes preferred the results from Morph.
Morph gets my complete endorsement as a long time Kyma user! (and I have not tried version 2 yet!)
This is great news.

Usual with many Zynaptiq products, but that's a price to pay for such high technology, IMOjackmazzotti wrote:tried the demo and it's amazing but it brings my computer to a completely stuttering mess
