Hi there,
I'm attempting the most basic function; syncing my Jupiter 4's arpeggio clock (nothing fancy) with my session bpm. I'm using ableton live 9 and I tried the "silent way sync" plugin, and I set it to 24 ppqn.
It's triggering very sparsely.....often not at all. I'm using a Focusrite Saffire Pro 40 - is that the issue? I read that it may not be compatible....?
Thanks so much for your help : )

Two possible issues
- the Saffire is not DC coupled, which in general precludes usage with Silent Way, though often clock pulses do work with AC coupled interfaces.
- some old synths require large voltages to trigger them, much more than the Saffire is likely to produce. If you can dig out a manual for the Jupiter you might be able to check the specs.

Thanks so much for the response. Apparently the Jupiter 4 likes 15v.....I read that somewhere nerdy, so I'll trust it. Can't seem to figure out what the Saffire is capable of spitting out though.....
If it's the rig, is my only solution to purchase an external converter?
Thanks again,

The Saffire is probably putting out about 4V tops.
You could build a simple voltage multiplier - see http://expert-sleepers.co.uk/siwaacencoder.html
