The survey I got was labeled "Ozone 6 Demo Survey" so I suspect if you didn't register for a demo/trial, you might not get it.

hmm, so that means that Ozone 5 owners like myself who stayed away after looking at the offering won't have a say - and my feedback would be like many on this thread - it seems a step backwards not forwards.

I'm staying with 5.

The solution to this is actually quite simple. As some DO like the new 6, well, then keep selling it!

BUT a lot of people do not like 6, so ... REISSUE the 5, call it Classic 5, or Vintage 5, or, who cares? Whatever, just put it out again at a fair price and let's be done with this huge nonsense. Simple.

[edit] And by the time of 7, we will all have learned our various lessons, right?

Ozone 5 is epic. This sucks because I need a mastering plugin(s) to complete my collection and Ozone 5 was perfect.

So according to Uncle E's bargain post Ozone 6.1 is out and adds additional features as well as bringing back some of the ones taken out. Could be good, can't seem to find any more info though...

There is nothing about it on the website and there are no current updates available for Ozone 6.

Does Classic 5 taste as good as New 6? I've heard some say that New 6 is sweeter. Why did they have to mess with the formula?

I predict that after a year or so of offering both Classic 5 and New 6, they will eventually drop New 6 and go back to calling the product Ozone 5.

Those who don't study history are, apparently, doomed to repeat it.

Can't find much info either, but I got an email from a distributor this morning saying:

The Ozone 6.1 update will offer completely new DSP including a Tube Limiter setting, automatic release mode, per module presets, and more!
