Yeah, good luck with that.
My main tools: Kontakt, Omnisphere, Samplemodeling + Audio Modeling. Unify = godsend. Tari's libraries also rock.

Hi Murnao,

thanks for the reply. About the renewal pricing, remember that it is completely optional, so if you purchase a license for Breezer you could use it forever without pay anything more. We understand also that 71€ for the pro edition could be a problem so we launched the Express Edition with a more accessible pricing, a license costs 43€, and if you want you could continue to receive updates with 37€ a year.

As other users pointed out in the forum on Windows the vast majority of sample library manager are "buggy- / vapor- / dead-ware" on the price target we have, with zero support.

Consider that we offer predictable and scheduled product updates, which are not only bug fixes but new features and improvements, plus the support, which when something goes wrong could be invaluable.

Anyway we listening carefully to our users so your complaint will be taken into account for the future.

Just one question, taken out the pricing question, what did you thing about the product? Is only the upgrade pricing the problem?

Thanks in advance for your feedback

Aren't there virtual folders where you can organize samples for a certain project (like in Sample Librarian by RYAudio)?

Post

Hi Tricky-Loops,

we have tags, much like RYAudio. You could tag a file or a folder with specific tags (by project, customer or whatever you want).

An then you could browse directly the tag library (regardless of the true sample location on disk). You can even completely hide the file system tree.

Remember that we have hierarchical tags, so a tag could contain other child tags. To organize the hierarchy just use drag'n'drop gestures.

Can't tell you because the moment i tried to install the demo your setup.exe tried to connect to the i-net (no, i have framework installed already) furthermore as i prohibited the connection your setup.exe tried to smuggle a code in another application (confirmed with Zemana Antilogger). This is the 1st program which cause such behaviour here since years..

PS. Okay, I blocked your setup.exe the installation moved on so far.. .. i fire up the program but it freezed now (because i blocked the exe to connect to the i-net). Now that i come trough my whole OS is sluggish as hell. The freeware like mutant i use is much better (i know no rex support) but sorry it's still much better. Your app is totally crap in my eyes.

Big LOL to you also to bringing up that other softare is bloated with malware or whatever and you offer this? Really???

@ murnau

If you're that wary, what about starting the program in a virtual environment like Sandboxie to test it? Makes software-testing a bit easier for you!

No need for sandbox Tricky, as you can see i'm totally safe. Anyway this crap isn't worth the hassle and not to speak about the price schedule: I wouldn't install it again even as freeware.

Funny, but don't derail this thread. The dev asked me i gave the honest and only answer i have.

PS. To everyone else, good luck with de-installing this monstrum. I can't it's not possible. Must delete everything by hand. Thank you! :x :x :x

Hi Murnau,

thank you for your report, tomorrow I route the issue to our developers. It might be an particular issue with Antilogger, your report could help other users from had the same issue.

About the internet connection of the installer I think that it was checking for updates of the installer on our web site. We got many support tickets of people which installed old version of the installer, that report a bug not solved just because was an old release. I need to check to the developers.

About the performance of Breezer the internet connection or not doesn't mean anything to Breezer it could work without problems. We have many customer where its DAW studio is offline (so we choose for offline activation a while ago). In fact the installer works fine without any connection.

You don't have uninstallers? :o

Anyway, I'm still happy with Sample Librarian by RYAudio...

An uninstaller is the least thing I expect from a program! :(
