Behringer v-tone or vintager guitar pack

Anyone know of this new package? I'm not a guitarist but would like to dabble when no one's in the studio.
v-tone has amp modeling while vintager has a tube,both 15 watt amps.For a beginer would the modeling be more useful?
The price seems awfully cheap[$170 canadian] for the whole package,,maybe the guitar is useless,,22 fret maple neck,chrome machines,3 single coil pickups and 5 way switching.....
