i have a friend who has a copy of absynth he never uses (mad i know) do native instruments allow license changes and if so is there an admin charge.

i've had a look on the ni site but couldn't see anything and thought someone here would probably know, if not i'll email them.

thought this might be quicker

hope you can transfer, i get almost free absynth

Yes they do.Have him contact NI with the pertinent info and they'll transfer the license to you.
AFAIK there's no admin fee.

AFAIK if the original registrant contacts NI with details of the transfer, they'll allow it. Of course, he or she will have to uninstall the program. I could've sworn it was in their FAQ or something...

I bought Reaktor on eBay and was able to transfer registration with the seller's help. Worried a bit but it all worked out fine.
