Whoohoo! I was the first person in Australia to pick up a copy of USB's UltraFocus yesterday.

The distributor was having the boxes literally delivered as I was buying Plugsound Box, so hey! why not? UltraFocus rocks; the sounds are inspiring.

Download "In Focus" - 128Kbit/44Khz/4:26 - 4.07MB <-- Right-click and "Save as"

Made in Tracktion using my brand new copies of Plugsound Box and USB UltraFocus

- Total time taken was about 4 hours.

Let me know if the bass is too loud: I played this in the car and the bassline seemed to dominate, but it could be the crappy stereo.

Hey Koorby! Good use of the product! I really like that little tune, I may have to check out Ultrafocus. But as I just partook in the Chameleon 5000 group buy, I may have to lay low for a while.

As for the bass, it was fine on my end but I have crappy speakers also. What was the guitar sounding patch called?

Were the drums from Ultrafocus or one of the box modules? I know volume three was percussion.

Anyway, do some more!

Check out my music page for more tunes of mine. Yes, the drums are from Plug Box volume 3 - I used the 808, the Groove Kit 04, and the Acousted Treatment Gated 3 - all nice kits.

The guitar was the Strat + SM57 patch.

This was a quick tune knocked up while I was surfing through the UltraFocus patches. Damn fine sounding synth.

Quite the pleasant tune and some cool sounds happening. Good display of the abilities of this new plug and some great guitarwork added.

The guitars are from Plugsound 2; best synth guitars I've used. I also want to try out MusicLab's Real Guitar - heard good reports on that.

Hi,

Actually, I had downloaded only 10% but after the prelisten i continued to get full.

I don't understand much music but bells sound good (sorry if they were not bells, realy).

What do you use for reverb?

I don't use a lot of channel reverb on that song actually. Most of the effects are built into the Ultra Focus patches. I do use a little delay on the guitar and some reverb on the piano, both from Kjaerhus Audio. They are free plugins, and you download them here:

I liked it because of the effort on the guitar, but the ultrafocus indeed sounds good.

From here the bass doesn't sound too loud, and it's even quite well produced imo.

What I do with songs posted on kvr is I down load them and then when I have got enough good ones I mix them together in a single flow and make a cd I give around to friends (without any authorization of the authors but for pure entertainment and discovery purposes

)
I think that one could very well end one of these cds, if you allow me to do so
