From the 619 area code, I got a very funny (I think it was supposed to be funny) phone call from a guy telling me to take my YouTube tracks down because I stole them from him.

He kept telling me that my tracks are 'whack' and I can't even 'steal good.'

Probably a recording, but sound quality was convincing enough to sound like there was an actual person on the phone.

Anyone know who's behind this?

It was my wife.

A clever app on the iPhone has a series of prank calls all lined up. Just enter the phone number of the victim and they get the aforementioned call.

For a musician, this was a great prank. Very funny.

And, of all the people I would suspect sending this to me, my wife would be at the bottom of that list. Very pleasantly surprised it was her.
