the right one for the song...it depends on where and how the groove clicks. Quite often I'll start a song at one tempo but as I develop the song I find I may adjust the tempo to get the right feel...like a song I'm working on now is 54, it started at 60, dropped to 50...but now that the parts are there 54 gives the feel and ambience I want.
