Hey I was,
playin around with Mic Mod Efx. Now Mic Mod Efx cost bme a woppin little 29 dollars U.s. out the door. But I have all these incredible mics. Right at my fingertips. To use in conjuction with or alone and such the program and external mics...
My Blue Encore 100 I use; which is hardware, sounds like, well, Bluegrass. Sounds like my dad on "bluegrass" if he was ever as young as Frank Sinatra as much as me. Without his raspy voice. haha had to throw that in there. The Blue Encore 100 I use is mild and clear and responsive and is a dynamic microphone.
Now getting to my other mics that i use actually "inside" Mic Mod EFX, (by Antares). (in which actually it DOES NOT sound ANatres autotune. On the contrary it sounds precise and PC, integral and detailed.)
So anyways in Mic Mod Efx I use the OM-5, by Audix. Great vocal mic. I used it for a song I made called "Opposite". I used it in conjunction with the VST by Waves called Kramer Preamp. The Mic Mod Efx Om-5's sound has a real big dip in the middle like big ol halfpip practially. You could alomost think of it as just that but a little shorter on one saide. It's really even with my round adam's apple. It sound consistant and like 68 degree weather. Nice and bundled up. Nice and even with clothes on. Kinda boring, and kinda chilly. Mainly even and grngy hypercardiod it is, sits well with heavy metal like I used.
The OM-5 by Audix is like my electro "hardcore" music machine, (mic). One word sums up my Om-5 I have in Mic Mod Efx and that is, even, 68*, and hardcore! Well that's 3, words. or something I don't know. I'm not looking back on this or on Mic Mod Efx. Certainly not in a bad way. But to get more off topic I would say back to the thang, Mic Mod Efx is bombeta. AND ESPECIALLY THE Om-5 !
The Om-5 is like true love at first sight. It looks hardcore. It sounds hardcore. It makes your voice flat as a woopie cushion, no not really. Thanks God haererarehjarah har, funny joke.
It's and even mic. Only costs 170 in hardware. But for 29 bucks I have it. As well as many other mics for that same price. Well total. For 29 dollars. I have access to over a hundred mics of different sorts and the OM-5 is one of them.
Now next. The Neaumann's. Yes they are integral people too. Hey mics are on! Yes them too! too! Good ol' cool hand Luke mic's. Hey I ate there in RIverbank! I had to take off the butter on the calamari, just worning ya'.
The Neauman's I used were the m 147 or 149 and the TLM 193 and 103's. Together They sound liek real white dude'. Real "white" man. Like dude, blue too. Which kinda sorta leads me to the next back distant mic I used at about 22 inches or so in Mic Mod Efx, dude. The Blue, Blueberry. Ofcourse the company that I mentioned is Blue. Like My Encore 100 it is quality. Like a NEuman too duuu'ude.
Those puupies were great on my thrash song sounding like modern day Blue Oyster Cult from the transition period alomost kinda but really cool. Kinda like both old blue Oyster Cult mixed with the style of their stuff a little later in the 80's. Like Joan Crawford. The song was called "look to the Light" by me, Faith Fox. it is no longer available on soundcloud sadly and I have erased it. Too bad, it was cool.
That setup with the Neaumann's and the Blueberry really "soared", like an icee cone in the air pretty much over to my new pastor and that good ol' PresberEE AN church.
Next I have shortly expreMINTED with the Blue BLuebird and Blueberry together.
Sounding well, uh rather hip-hop "sun" .
"Not to mention". HAve you been baptized yet son?" "Oh no though, he didn't ask me that".
Hey he probably might if I go back there more than once or twice, however many times that was. But hey the guy was actually sweet and cool. Calm nerves. Thanks bra'.
