I'm a sucker for old computer stuff, and would love to read about the original, anybody know of links to info?

I have been reading Commodore User and Zzap 64 mags from the 80's, but can't remember seeing it reviewed or mentioned there.

Was it released as early as '84/'85 as claimed here?:

Version 2.0 is from 87 I think.
I haven't found any good links about it.

Aegis 64-bit was released a while ago but I only posted about it in the Lynx thread. I've updated the x64 version to 1.01 with some bug fixes.
