Anyone use HD Tracks? If you are downloading separate FLAC files what happens with albums that need to be played gapless? (eg Dark side of the moon)

Nothing happens much. If you write them to CD then you have to set track spacing to 0. If you listen them on your MP3 player or computer then it all depends how fast your player loads a file. On MP3 player most likely the transition will not be smooth, on computer there should not be a problem.aMUSEd wrote:Anyone use HD Tracks? Thanks, I'm trying to decide if it's worth it, my DAC can go upto FLAC 192/24 and there are some albums I would love to have that pure quality sound with. Turns out, unfortunately, that HDTracks doesn't have as good a selection of albums as I'd have hoped for - eg it doesn't have DSOTM or any classic Floyd
Or Laura Nyro's New York Tendaberry. All albums I would love to have in the best quality. It does have some Joni Mitchell though, might try Blue in this format.
It's also rather annoying that the site redirects you to the .co.uk site even if you type in HDTracks.com, which is frustrating as the US site seems to have a better selection (the UK site won't let me buy any Laura Nyro for example).
