It might be too late, but i will recommend glass viper. A total sleeper.

He's not lying, have been demoing it in 64 bit for a while now. Cool synth.

Edit: I realise where I screwed up. Dave responded in a thread here that he was planning no further development of the synth:

Somehow in my ageing memory that got confused with 32/64

I liked it when I demoed it a few years ago but I recall that the interface was pretty small and my eyesight can't take tiny interfaces any more.

(Somebody will no doubt tell me that it's bigger now!)

Well, I did listen to the audio demo off of Luftrum's site (he has a soundset for it) and it does sound very interesting. But yes, I also looked at the GUI and I suspect it's going to be impossible for me to see as well. Shame. Lots of great sounding synths I've had to pass on because of small GUIs.

** EDIT ** Just for the heck of it, I downloaded the evaluation copy and sure enough the GUI is almost impossible to work with. I've seen worse, believe it or not, but I can't imagine myself trying to fiddle with this thing for more than the 10 minutes I just did before I get totally frustrated with it. Shame, because it does have a nice sound to it. Oh well.

Yeah. I really wonder how hard it'd be to make some kind of magnifier tool for vsts (windows' one is not great). My solution is to have the monitor really close (hehe). Great plug, tiny interface.

Times are changing - I'm sure zoomable GUIs will become a standard feature in VSTs by professional companies. Finally the customer decides - companies may follow if they want to sell.

Right, but there are a ton of excellent synths that aren't being developed any more and are tiny on today's screens, where a generic magnifier would really help. Not at all sure it's possible though.

I know it is to late, but I just want to say that I am incredibly delighted with Rapture Pro.
My old presets for Rapture load with the only hitch being they sound a little different, but it is a good different as they sound better, bolder and denser than in the original Rapture. It is an incredibly deep instrument, but so far I'm finding it easy ti navigate. And the bit of learning curve is to be expected, and I must say that I'm finding the sound well worth the effort. Very pleasing to work with as I seem to find my self drifting from one really cool sound to another. And MIDI Guitar with it is just.....well..... absolutely amazing and awe inspiring at the sounds possible. I must say that I am thrilled with Rapture Pro, and highly recommend it.

Well, until they increase the size of the GUI, which from my understanding they still haven't, I'll stick with my $5 Rapture CM which I will probably rarely use because the GUI is such a nightmare.
