The 1.01 is planned to be ready sometime next week. It will contain the DPI Windows fix for the cut off UI, an audio fix I did, and maybe whatever comes in and gets ready in time.KingTuck wrote:Do you think the hotfix will be ready in time for the full release of Nave?
I plan to do updates in the beginning whenever there's a need for. Once it survives in the wild, I like to care about some feature requests for an 1.10 update or so.
Ok, all depends a bit on how it works out. Let's see.
Cheers

Ok, good points. I'll check if somebody from Waldorf or I can compile something in the next days.Spitfire31 wrote:Hi Rolf, temporubato wrote: Hi

I'd like to see a tutorial about the best practices for analyzing and importing sample sounds. The manual is woefully brief on this.
Like, what audio file lengths work best, what sample rates, etc. Of course, experimenting is half the fun, but some guidelines would be appreciated, along with practical examples.
Kind regards,
Joachim

I'm making great patches already with this plugin. This might sound terrible, but the only reason I haven't already bought this outright is because of the 100 day demo...actually that's my next question: is it a full demo for 100 days or 100 hours, whichever comes first? Because if it's the latter, I'm glad I already saved up the money to buy this plugin, those hours will be used up really fast!!!
Since I already have two mighty wavetable synths (Serum and 3ta), I am allowing myself one more for my collection. For a time, I considered it a battle between PPG Wave, Wavemapper, and Wavegenerator. Sorry Mr. Palm, Nave is the winner here (at least for me). Nave's sound alone wins it for me, great depth from all perspectives.
Plus, it's obvious Rolf is listening to our input, which means this plugin is going to be devastatingly great in a relatively short time. I want to be there as this one progresses...
I would like to have LFOs that I can modify at will, like Serum but not neccesarily with their little table, perhaps Wolf will come up with something more creative and original. But tweakable LFO shapes would be fantastic, upping the quality of this plugin tenfold imo.

Thanks for the quick replay, Rolf awesome! Well, in that case I guess I better make arrangements to purchase Nave sooner than later. I might have to go the Sweetwater route if it runs out too quick (thank God for Sweetwater's payment plan lol!).temporubato wrote:

Oops I meant Rolf not Wolf. I was listening to Wolf Hoffman of Accept when I wrote that lol!Apostate wrote: I would like to have LFOs that I can modify at will, like Serum but not neccesarily with their little table, perhaps Wolf will come up with something more creative and original. However, this doesn't tell us if it's either/or. This could even mean you get an hour a day for 100 days, two hours for 50, etc.
Either way, I've got Nave in my Sweetwater shopping cart. Whenever it ends, I want to be ready to grab it.

Sounds clear to me; 100 hrs in total - expiring after 100 days (if not all 100 hrs were used).Apostate wrote:"This license allows unrestricted use for 100 hours over a period of 100 days."chk071 wrote:Tbh, I'm not exactly sure now too... could have also said 1000 starts in the eLicenser control centre. With things like this it's usually whatever comes first. Either you use up your 100 hours or, if you haven't by the time you reach 100 days, the software stops working.

can anyone confirm that sweetwater is sending out the activation codes for the full product. i would like to buy nave but here in germany it still is unavailable (even in waldorfs own online store). funny, given that it is german product from a german company.
cheers

Yes, Sweetwater only sells full activations. They are also very good to deal with, as I've bought from them dozens of times.Gosh wrote:can anyone confirm that sweetwater is sending out the activation codes for the full product. i would like to buy nave but here in germany it still is unavailable (even in waldorfs own online store). funny, given that it is german product from a german company.
