Are you sure it isn't running licensed? You can see the number when you click on the Rapture Pro logo.gnosis123 wrote:It even shows up as a "connected product" in Command Center, serial number and all.Astralp wrote:You have to run the command center and login to your account and it licenses it immediately.
EDIT: Oh sorry didn't see it wasn't running properly... Hope you get it sorted soon!

Yes but the command centre seems to let you install them all in one go.
Anyone know where the presets are being installed? I can set sample content but want to know where the presets go to as I have some third party banks to also install.

pack 3 has two missing files :
Rapture Pro/Programs/Dimension Pro/Percussion/Pezunero.prog
Sample Data/Rapture Pro/Multisamples/16 - Percussion/Pezunero.sfz
64 bit standalone crashed on win 8.1 pro :
Microsoft Visual C++ Runtime
Runtime Error!
Program: .../RapturePro_64.exe
R6025
- pure virtual function call

On windows you get to choose the location from the small RP plug-in installer when run manually, I imagine if you run it it will show you the screen where you can choose which will already be filled in with the default location. Hope that makes sense. Maybe it didn't ask via the Command centre.

Yes, quite sure. The s/n in the logo is 9999-999, etc. Plus, I get a Command Center message in Live, telling me I'm running in demo mode (without, of course, giving me a way to resolve it).Astralp wrote:Are you sure it isn't running licensed? Presets are in /Users/Shared/Cakewalk Content/Rapture Pro. Don't know yet where the samples are, except they aren't where I told CC to put them. Sheesh...aMUSEd wrote:Yes but the command centre seems to let you install them all in one go.

I chose the folder for the 64bit VST Plug and instead it installed in the cakewalk folder on my C: Drive.
Plus it installed the Vst3 version which I didn't ask for at all.

But it did install a VST 2.4 version? On the Mac, it gave me AU and VST3, no VST2.4 at all (32 or 64bit).lotus2035 wrote:I chose the folder for the 64bit VST Plug and instead it installed in the cakewalk folder on my C: Drive.

I tried entering the Serial I got into the register your product line, and it told me it wasn't valid. Do I have to do something first, like run the Command center thingy? Or do I need to call JRR and ask why the serial isn't valid?

It installed what seems to be the Vst2 .dll file in C:, Program Files, Cakewalk, VstPlugins, Rapture Pro but when I link to this folder in Cubase 8 the plug wont even register. The Vst3 version works fine though.
Seems like Cakewalk have to do some tweaking, par for the course I suppose.

They turned out to be one folder below where I'd expected, but they are there. Only problem left is the registration/activation.gnosis123 wrote:Presets are in /Users/Shared/Cakewalk Content/Rapture Pro. Don't know yet where the samples are, except they aren't where I told CC to put them. Sheesh...

From the numerous webkit errors I keep getting it seems the Mac command centre is clumsily hacked together using webkit.
