if you speak about the specific best synths in the world you love, the answer is no.Tjivory wrote:Is it possible to open a vsti or vst in any of these applications to get a look at some of the program features? Would be great if I could cut, paste, and mix specific features together to create my own personal vsti for non commercial use. Seems pretty cool if you were the only one who had a custom vsti, but not sure if its legal (probably not). At the very least It could give me some insights..
I try to explain with concept you know very well
You are a edm producer
You are asking if it is possible to load a good edm track you love in your sequencer and get all tracks open with midi notes, vsti, and vst configured so you can take the bass from an other song and experiment a bit.
The best thing you can do is learning music, music tools, buy vsti and vst, learn from tutorials and create your song after at least several months, and become the new avicii after several years of hard work, hoping you are talented.
Yes you'll find demo songs or even the avicii example in fruity loops for educational purpose, and you can experiment!!! but it does not sound anything like the real deal.
Music production and plugin production are really similar concepts. There is no shortcut. Lot of people involved, little money for hard work, very difficoult to create something everyone speaks about.
