Something i miss about Obxd, is better way to change Presets quicker like there are in the most soft synths.
I have never liked changing presets in dropdown menu in your DAW.

Right.
If you are using REAPER there is a nice workaround for all the synths that ignore program change messages.
Click on the little + icon on top right of any plugin UI.

Hi everybody.
My English is little bad but i'll try to explain my problem.
When I add it to Forte, the GUI does not show its upper part, that's where you can load sounds, so I can't load any patch. Someone has experienced this issue? What can I try to do?
Thanks in advance
Cheers

It depends a little on which DAW you are using.
In FL Studio for example you can load (and save) preset banks by going into the menu of the instrument wrapper

FL Studio was just an example, I was trying to say that depending on your DAW you can try to load patches for a VST going into the menu of the instrument wrapper

In the upper part of the GUI you can`t load sounds. This synth can't load sounds directly, it depends on your DAWbrufolo wrote:Hi everybody.

In the upper part of the new GUI, there is a group of three blue buttons: WRITE, LOAD and SAVE. I can load sysex (.syx) files (banks or patches) and I can load .PG8Xpreset files.
This is the Mac VST. I assume the Win VST is the same.

Oops, sorry! I was reading the PG-8X thread concurrently and mixed them up. Time to go to bed…
Kind regards,

obxd has no internal patch management system. it loads banks and patches in FXB and FXP files using your DAW's patch loader.
time to get a daw that supports fxb and fxp if you ask me!

if you want to use OBXD as a standalone synth for live playing, try SAVIhost. it works great with OBXD.brufolo wrote:Thank you guys, I use Brainspawn Forte 3.0 to play live, and unfortunately Forte does not have this functionality...
