How exactly does this work for owners of 8.x? is this a free upgrade or is it considered a new product like going from Omni 1 to 2 or Electra to Electra 2 etc.?

I'm perfectly content with 8 as it is so don't really have a burning need to spend anymore money right now, not after just putting in a new furnace and a driveway half way done.

I think he's asking about an MPS-only installer, instead of one with everything.

Quick question: Should we uninstall v8, or just install v9 on top of it?

You can just choose to install just MPS

. And nope, you don't need to do anything, just use the newest installer

You know you don't have to actually install anything you don't want, right?

Or ae you worried about "dead weight" in the installer itself? If so, first off, why? And second, as stated above, all Melda stuff has a ton of common components, and from my understanding there's only one copy of each in the installer, can be used by multiple VSTs, so that one combined installer is much smaller than you'd think for all the products it covers.

Is it possible that i replaced my Default or could something have happened in the 9.0 update? Filter is enabled, advanced osc settings are edited, it's no sine etc

However, i saw there's a new(?) folder with called "waves" with sine, saw etc
