What's a good sample editor.
I want to move things around, chop it up.

Try this one before you go buy anything. Has not seen an update for a while but still quite deep in terms of features

Have a look in the manual for Warping, Slice to New MIDI Track, and Beat Repeat.

Acon Digital Acoustica is good and cost less than Sound Forge but if I had the money, I would choose Sound Forge. There's a studio version of it which costs less but it can't handle vst plug-in chains...
