Oh well I have plenty of other things to do.
And Eric man... Cuz it's you, dude. If it were somebody else, I'd... what am I trying to do, lie to myself too? I'd still wait it out and just get it when I could.
They got me by the consumerizing balls here, man - BY THE BALLS of my SOUL!

Oh wow, just woke up and see that I have a lot of stuff to check out
Thanks to everyone who posted there videos or left links. Will help with the time, but honestly, it's finals time now for university so I have no time to play with OM2 even if I had it right now.

I'll give my impressions at a later date but a note to sound developers.
I created a patch using a user waveform that I created myself. I then looked to see how exactly this was stored in the system. What Omni 2 does is it takes your wav file and places it under soundsources/user in its own folder that is date stamped with a sub folder of the wave file's name under it. In THAT folder it the wave file and a map file.
If you create sound collections for others, you will need to include this user folder.
Now, here is the tricky part. I have NO idea what kind of conflicts you're going to run into with other 3rd party libraries if all these are created the same way. You could end up with multiple user folders, multiple date folders and who knows what else. I haven't begun to try to figure out all the possible combinations.
Eric or somebody should really explain just how third party libraries are going to work, as far as a smooth installation, before people start cranking these things out.
Because this could get real messy, real fast.
More later.

There already is an explanation... is in the user manual, under Sharing. I'm still testing it but it's really probable that, as Audiority, my future banks will be released as Omnisphere Projects.

Astral is my band's name selected in 1993 after reading Carlos Castaneda (all 8 books- strongly recommend if you done with Harry Potter and want to hear about real magic and out of the body experience).why is that your user name. have you ever had an obe? i hate to sound religious, this question is only directed towards you. ive had two
Only two? I personally not sure how religious experience can count- Astral Projection implies out of body experience while sleeping. The highest accomplishment of the teaching is to be able to jump in to a canyon and survive, which I have not attempted but wrote a song about.

Well, the manual is offline and I don't see one installed anywhere on my PC.Audiority wrote:There already is an explanation... is in the user manual, under Sharing. I'm still testing it but it's really probable that, as Audiority, my future banks will be released as Omnisphere Projects.

Come on people, chop chop, videos and sounds or it ain't real, dammit!
Let's put that social media to work and help Spectrasonics get the news out. So somebody doesn't buy 'em out and so on.
That pic of Eric is pretty cool, looks like the waveform is manifesting from his noggin.

oh thats erics secret brain to synth development tool he uses to create new sound sound sources. the military have spent many years of blood sweat and cpu processing power trying to get a hold of erics technology but eric knows that if they got their hands on it they would use it for evil purposes so that why eric uses sset that is 'sound source encryption technology'.Codestation wrote: That pic of Eric is pretty cool, looks like the waveform is manifesting from his noggin.
in laymans terms this mean that the code to his brain to synth technology remains encrypted into the sound sources. that why the spectrasonics service went down. the military used a ddos attack on erics company. however next week, once eric upgrades the sset code to dna dsp the military will be hopelessly lost and spectrasonics will rise in power, once again.

Thank you for posting the video and for making it to a person who made it, but... wow... It is amazing to see what people do with the plugin when they get their hands on it. So it was 16 minutes video and the author went straight to the effects units and spent 16 minutes talking about 2 bands EQ and few other things and auditioned the entire 3 sounds out of 10,000. What a great introduction! Yep- the first thing I will do when I get Omnesphere is to listen a difference in reverb tails on one basic sound.
